...Shiner (yes... after the beer) !

Shiner Lovoi is the Grande Dame of Midtown. In fact, new employees do not earn their wings until Shiner bestows her approval upon them.

We are all mesmerized by Shiner because she is truly one of a kind. A rare Coyote-mix, Shiner has the spirit of a wild animal and the calmness and intelligence that comes along with it. She is in a different league than the ordinary, domestic dog. You would never see a sweater on Shiner. She wears a collar, bregrudgingly, because she has come to love her domestic family.

Shiner stops traffic and serves as a fantastic conversation piece. Everywhere she goes, inquiring minds want to know more about the striking animal before them.

As a young coyote/dog pup, Shiner's human-family found her on the side of the road and scooped her up; not knowing what kind of jewel they had just extracted from the wild! Now, having somewhat tamed her wild side over the years, Shiner has become their loving pet.

Now an old lady, Shiner keeps us all on our toes. The excitement that she displays when she gets to go for her walk lets us know that she is still young at heart. And staff members report that she has her priorities in line because she always stops to smell the flowers.
