Philosophy.
Animals. We operate under the Golden Rule of treating our clients' pets as we would want ours to be treated.With that philosophy we have become Austin's leading kennel and grooming salon since 1970Customers. We work to ensure the health and happiness of our clients pets. Through observation, communcation, and education we strive to keep clients informed about their pets' grooming, daycare, and boarding experiences as well as assisting owners in their quest to provide the best care possible for their pets
Community. Our role is one of stewardship and ongoing participation. The Midtown team can be seen at local pet-centric events around Austin. Additionally, Midtown has partnered with the Humane Society of Austin, Tthe Town Lake Animal Shelter, and Austin Pets Alive to provide donation-grooms to animals in need. We help start animals on the road to recovery by giving them much-needed grooming. This helps them get healthy and makes them more adoptable. Environment. Midtown strives to be an environmentally conscious business. We recycle everything from plastics and paper to batteries and aerosol cans. We order local and/or natural products when possible. Pet waste is removed from our yard a minimum of two times per day. We donate surplus dog food to homeless pets as well as donating supplies to local shelters. In an effort to minimize our carbon footprint, we order retail and products from Texas-local companies whenever possible.
Relationships. The staff at Midtown work in the animal industry for one reason.... LOVE. We enjoy our clients' animals and have fun! By building relationships with our clients and their animals we are able to provide the most intimate care to each and every animal. We host Meet-and-Greet events at Red Bud Isle as well as Yappy Hour Socials around town so that pet parents can become acquainted with other client dogs and their humans. For the involved client, a relationship with the staff of Midtown Groom & Board can mean much more than just dropping your pet off for the day. Our goal is to maximize the potential of the human-animal relationship through fun and enjoyment
