Boarding Requirements.

An evaluation night is required for all future, long-term boarding. The regular nightly rate applies. Please DO NOT book your evaluation the day before you leave town as we cannot predict the results of your pet's evaluation.

All dogs must be spayed / neutered

All dogs must be current on Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella (kennel cough)

We recommend the Canine Influenza Virus (CIV) and Leptospirosis vaccinations

Vaccinations should be faxed to us, from your veterinarian, prior to your pet's arrival @ 512 - 477 - 8078. For safety reasons, we cannot hold pets for any amount of time without verification of vaccinations

We require paper documentation of vaccinations from your veterinarian (tags are not adequate verification). We do not accept "home" vaccines or vaccines administered at another kennel

We will accept positive titer tests for Distemper / Parvo. We accept both the 6 month and the 1 year Bordetella vaccination

A boarding contract must be filled out, signed, and dated (by the owner) for each visit

If a friend, relative, or assistant is dropping off, a boarding contract must be downloaded and filled it out thoroughly by the owner. A number at which the owner can be reached must be provided

Boarding rate is per dog. There is no discount for shared kennels

Dogs must be social and have no history of injury to humans or other dogs

Dogs must be between the ages of 6 months and 12 years

Dogs must be in excellent health. Pets with communicable diseases or life threatening/serious illnesses are not permitted

Animals with serious injuries may not board at our facility. Please refer to your veterinarian

No diggers, No climbers, No Houdinis

Dogs with unusually loud or incessant barking may be turned away due to our close proximity to residences

All dogs must have a collar and an i.d. tag with their name. Gentle leaders, harnesses, choke-chains, and prong collars do NOT qualify as "collars". Rabies / vaccination tags are not "name" tags

A collar / tag will be provided for pets who arrive without one. Collar = $10. Tag = $2

In order to keep a flea-free facility, all pets are checked upon arrival. Owner will be asked their preferred method of flea treatment on the boarding contract(Capstar pill or Flea Dip). Capstar is safe to administer to dogs that have already received their monthly flea treatment, be it oral or topical. Please ask your veterinarian about Capstar. The alternative treatment to the Capstar pill is a Flea Dip. If fleas are found, Capstar pill is = $8. Alternative option of Flea Dip = $35

Boarding dogs must arrive to our facility on a leash or in a carrier

We cannot accept puppies younger than 6 months. Puppies must have ALL rounds of vaccinations verified and be spayed/neutered

General medicines will be administered by our staff. Medicines must be clearly labelled and accompanied by detailed instructions. Medicines must be willingly consumed by pets. We do not force-feed medicines. We do not administer injections

We feed Premium dog food. Please note that any sudden change in diet, no matter what brand of food, can cause upset stomach and diarrhea in a small percentage of animals. Clients are welcome to provide their own food. If diet is a concern, portioned baggies are recommended

All personal items must be labeled with the Animal's first name and Owner's last name

A departure bath is REQUIRED if a dog stays 3 nights or more

All boarding is by reservation

A credit card is required to secure reservations with a cancellation policy of 72 hours notice. Failure to provide appropriate notice of cancellation results in a $50 fee (per pet) for lost business

Dogs that do not play well with others will be allowed private play time

Transportation fees apply for any pets that must be taken to the veterinarian, for any reason, during their stay. $20 per hour (1 hour minimum)

Drop-Off and Pick-Up times

Monday - Friday 10 am to 5:45 pm

Saturday 10 am to 4:45pm

Sunday 10 am to 5:30 pm.

Pets arriving before 10 am will be charged for the night prior. Pets left after closing board for another night at owner's expense. We do not offer early or late drop-off and pick up times

Pets left after their scheduled departure date during holiday and peak season will board at the nightly rate of $45 per night for all subsequent nights

Boarding I $30 per dog / night

(no discount for shared kennels)

Boarding rates include private kennel, fleece linens, premium food, abundant play-time and gentle, expert care

A La Carte Options

Neighborhood Hike I $10 per walk, per dog : Arrange for your dog to be taken on an extended hike with a dog walker. Perfect for energetic pups and shy dogs alike

Meds I $2 per medicine, per administration

Spoil Session I $10 per dog, per session : Have a staff member play with your pup one-on-one. We will play fetch, snuggle, pet, and shower your dog with attention

Snack Time I $2 per treat : Your dog will receive healthy, all-natural frozen yogurt treats

Email Updates I $10 flat rate : Receive daily updates on your little animal
